Peter Caine's vanity gallery scam?
Costs $1900 to exhibit there....Apparently you get " significant international exposure"!

What is a vanity gallery? Nov. 29, 2012, 11:35 p.m.
A vanity gallery is a place that charges money for an opportunity to exhibit your work. The sales pitch is that they have access to collectors, curators, museums, etc, therefore it's worth the initial investment. And who knows, it might be, sometimes, for a rare few... generally speaking since these places make their money from the fees paid by artists, they have no reason to make any effort to sell work. Moreover, most collectors and curators know vanity galleries by reputation and avoid them. Dec. 13, 2012, 12:36 p.m.
You know what's really sad? seeing an artist-hopeful list a vanity gallery on their resume... not only did you get ripped off, it leaves a sour taste in the mouth of any future real galleries thinking of taking you on
