Artists buying Facebook fans and likes
Apparently some artists are buying Facebook fans and likes for their own page for promotional purposes. If you don't believe me keep a eye out on the number of fans artists have and if it jumps from, for example: 100-10,000 in one day, you now know why. Is this right, smart or just part of business? Here is one of the many sites out there: http://www.fansbuy.org/
Seriously? So that's where all those pages with 30,000 likes come from? Nice to know... Jan. 24, 2013, 7:32 a.m.
It's probably good business practice- pages with more likes get seen by more people, right? And it looks like the artist page is wildly popular... clever, though not exactly true Jan. 25, 2013, 6:29 a.m.

Not a lot different than getting your work into an auction and bidding on it.... Feb. 20, 2013, 8:49 p.m.
Actually the new facebook algorithm will make everyone who bought "likes" look really stupid. Unless people interact with your posts, no one will see them anyway, no matter how many "likes" someone might have bought. If the content's bland, no one will see it. March 12, 2013, 11:20 a.m.
